I will be discussing The Rainy Day on CRCFM‘s The Chatroom programme with Angela Faull this Friday 8th February 2019 at 11am.
I will be reading at the launch of my debut short story collection, The Rainy Day, in Mayo County Library, on Friday 15th February 2019 at 6.30pm. The guest speaker will be Cllr. Al McDonnell, who has been instrumental in plans to restore Moore Hall, the childhood home of the famous author George Moore. George Moore published a major collection of Irish short stories over a century ago (The Untilled Field, 1903). Complimentary refreshments will be served. Copies will be available on the night. You can reserve a launch copy here. The Rainy Day is published by Penniless Press (UK).
There are still places available on the Irish Literature course starting next Wednesday, January 30th at Galway Arts Centre (6-8pm). Details on the courses page. You can also phone 091 565886 to reserve your place.
It was a pleasure to meet local writers at the registration night in Davitt College this week for the MSLETB Evening Series. There are still some places available on the ‘Creative Writing: Introduction’ course starting on Tuesday February 5th. Details on the courses page. You can also book by calling 094 9026172.
