Young Writers of Co.Longford, please join our writing ensemble for an amazing, high quality introduction to creative writing this Summer!
Over a series of Tuesday evenings, we will explore getting started in creative writing, editing, sharing work and getting work published in magazines and with high street publishers. We will also try out different genres such as science fiction, crime and horror.

T1- TEENAGE WRITERS – INTRODUCTION
- Thursday 30th May – Starting to Write
- Thursday 6th June – Editing
- Thursday 13th June – Publishing
- Saturday 15th June – Public Readings for family & friends (3-5pm)
Venue: The D’Alton Inn Hotel, Claremorris (Online option available).
(Note public readings are optional for participants).
Time 7-8pm (unless noted above)
Registration: No charge – project supported by Mayo County Council Creative Ireland Cruinniu na nOg programme 2024.
Note attendance is limited to writers aged 13-18 and living or staying in Co.Mayo.
