Congratulations to MKCW Resident Writer Julie McCabe-Johanning on the publication of The Gospel of Irish Music by Atlantic Papers in September 2025. The Gospel of Irish Music is a funny, intimate and very spiritual memoir of Julie’s musical journey from Chicago to Ireland.

LIAM HORAN

Congratulations to MKCW Alumnus Liam Horan on the publication of his debut collection, Second Chance & Other Stories. The book was launched on 8th October 2022 as part of the Wild Atlantic Words Literary Festival in Castlebar, Co.Mayo.

I was delighted to work with Liam on the book through our courses.

Congratulations to  MKCW School Writer  Kathleen (Catherine Fahey) on the publication of her poem ‘The Wordsworth Letters’ in the ‘Country Living’ supplement of the Farmer’s Journal, a national  paper with a circulation of 300,000 copies weekly.
