What is M-Pro?
M-Pro
M-Pro is a unique programme we have developed and are delivering it with several writers at the moment. I am limiting the intake for 25/26. Students complete a masters-style program of study over the course of a year and at the end the book is published either with a large publisher or on a limited press basis with our partner press — guaranteed.
Note the full program details below.
Students attend 6 Courses (36 nights) Single Project (In-Person where available or online on Wednesdays 8-10pm/Fridays 5-7pm) & 3 1-1 Mentorships (24 meetings) & 12 Project Manager sessions (12 meetings).
This is 36 1-1 sessions in total and 36 class sessions in total.
Students can opt for 12 additional 1-1 sessions instead of the classroom sessions or 38 weeks of up to 72 classes online or in-person instead of 1-1 sessions.
If students finish project during the year and it is being submitted for publication, they can embark on any other new writing project for the year such as:
- Screenplay adaptation
- Stage adaptation
- Novel
- Poetry collection
- Short story collection
- Memoir
- Nonfiction book
We will also look to place the current project at worldwide agents and publishers who will reach a separate publishing deal with the student.
Regardless of the outcome, students still have all course & mentorship credits.
If we cannot find an agent to represent the project which ultimately leads to a publication offer or a publisher by END OF YEAR, our partner press Atlantic Papers will publish the book on my recommendation on a limited press basis.
