If you are serious about writing, you need to be at Springbound26. This is a specially designed, focussed weekend of writing and seminars provided by MKCW, Ireland’s national creative writing course provider.

Note attendance is completely optional to any event — many previous attendees have emerged only for meals and used the weekend to complete or start a project, emerging only for meals and drinks! It’s up to you!

How often do you get a full weekend to yourself anyway?

Check in to The Spencer at 3pm and write until 11am on Sunday! That’s one option!

Poetry Clinic – Thinking of a poetry collection? Discuss your plans with a poetry editor. You can send a 5 poem sample in advance (Please book this in advance via registration form form (issued on registration)
Novel Clinic – Have you a novel almost complete? We will pair you with an industry representative or a practicing novelist to give you a outside view on your novel. Send a 2,000 chapter OR a 500-word synopsis of the book
Short Story – If your dream is a short story collection, speak to someone who has achieved that several times. Discuss the challenges of the form here.

Nonfiction Clinic – A published writer of nonfiction will review your project and discuss its suitability fo publication.
Theatre Clinic – If you want to work with palys and in the theatre, we will provide birdseye view of this exciting industry.
Screenwriting Corner Clinic – Enjoy industry experience and evalaution of your script!
Writing for Children clinic – This is an opportunity to meet with a representative of the industry or a practicing writer in the area.

Radio Clinic – A specialist in writing for the Ear will provide key support
Other forms Clinic – Multiforms such as Experimental, Edgy, Installations and many more — apply here!

Experts are drawn from all areas including education, screenwriting, publishing, stage and others! We will confirm the speakers when we have the full delegate list and specific priorities. All will be either extensively trained at the highest level, published traditionally or be established in the industry.
